The course is located on a 3.1 mile loop inside beautiful Trinity Park in Fort Worth, Texas. Most of the course takes place on a crushed limestone path that meanders through the park and along the banks of the Trinity River. There are also some asphalt, a couple of foot bridges, a bit of sidewalk, and a basketball court. The course is fast and flat, and there will be two aid stations along the way to keep you well fueled. Typical ultra food will be provided--electrolyte drink, water, pretzels, bananas, oranges, candy, etc. There are also lots of spots along the route where you can leave a drop bag.
To get to Trinity Park, make your way to I-30 and head toward the Cultural District (a few miles west of downtown Fort Worth). Take the University Exit and head north. Go to Lancaster and turn right. Volunteers will be out there to direct you into the parking lot. You want to park at the south-east corner of the lot, which is approximately 1/4 of a mile from the main race pavillion. If you park elsewhere, you may have to walk 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile. That's no big deal at the start. But it will not be fun after you've been running for awhile.
